The great thing in this world
is not so much where we are,
but in what direction
we are moving.

...inability to assert your needs
...feelings of unworthiness
...an inability to manage life
...feeling out of touch with personal dreams
...lack of self-esteem
...feeling overwhelmed by crises
...being flooded by painful feelings
...fear of commitment -- relationship or career
...a loss of connection with creativity, hope, love, and joy
...fear of intimacy

...fear of engulfment
...the inability to be alone
...feeling restless

Oftentimes, symptoms are indications
that you have lost contact with what is most important to you. You may
feel like you have forgotten who you are and what you want. You may feel
like a stranger to your own self.
There is, however, a well-developed
practice that may help bring you back in touch
with your true self.
